I’m Sharona, a senior at The Scholars’ Academy. This is my second fall in Next Gen and first year as a Lead Fellow. Last spring I was part of the voting rights CAP which focused on gaining momentum for lowering the voting age. Next Gen has given me a space to connect with people who hold so many different beliefs, points of view, and individuals that are even from different states. As a lead fellow this year I hope to aid in developing this inclusive space that has been so important in establishing my own beliefs.
