Madeline Mayes

Madeline is a Jewish, Latinx leadership and honors student at Fort Hamilton High School, which is located in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Through the leadership program at her school, she works closely with the principal and administration on student council and student engagement activities. She is also a member of Fort Hamilton’s Varsity Girls Tennis Team, which won first place at the city championships in 2019. As a member of the school’s Audio/Visual Squad, Madeline has gained essential communication skills that she hopes to expand with her involvement with The Round Table Podcast. Outside of school, she is a member of Senator Andrew Gounardes’ Youth Pedestrian Safety Council, and actively participates in YVote, a youth political action group that she is very dedicated to. In her spare time, Madeline enjoys reading and has a side business as a calligraphist.
