Emma Siskind

 Hi everyone! My name is Emma, I use she/her/hers pronouns, and I am a senior at Ethical Culture Fieldston High School in Bronx, New York. Starting as a freshman, I have been curious about the political systems and operations around me. In my junior year, I decided to be surrounded by others who shared this same curiosity. Thus I joined Next Gen last spring, and since then, I have gained invaluable knowledge and experiences from group conversations and projects. Last year, my Civic Action Group put together a presentation on Lowering the Voting Age. Throughout creating the presentation, I developed my group work skills, knowledge of voting laws, and passion for being politically engaged. I am excited to continue working alongside politically engaged fellows this year, and I hope to have some meaningful conversations!
