- Lead Fellow

Hi! I’m Aliya, currently a senior at Sleepy Hollow High School. This is my first year with Next Generation Politics. After participating in the Summer Civic Fellowship, and now, I am a Lead Fellow! I enjoy reading, listening to music, and advocating for issues pertinent to me. In school, I am involved with clubs such as Asian-American Culture Club and Model United Nations Club. Outside of school, I regularly volunteer at my local Chinese language school as a teaching assistant and participate in YVote. I have interned with Mark Levine’s campaign, which has brought me to learn more about politics and the inner workings, leading me to sign up for NGP programs! NGP has helped me participate in difficult discussions. I am excited to learn more from the other fellows and engage in more bipartisan conversations!
