Emmanuel Annan Jr.

Hi everyone, my name is Emmanuel Annan Jr and I am a senior at Brooklyn College Academy. I first became involved with YVote and Next gen in the summer of 2023. While not too long ago, I am really glad to be a part of YVote because I can carry out my activism and meet other amazing people. I am now a ChangeMakers Institute Peer Leader, as well as a part of the NYC Youth Agenda, as well as being on the lovely NextGen Podcast and a part of the NextGen blog. I enjoy reading Webtoons and comics, playing video games (if I have time), doing puzzles and binge watching Nextflix and TLC shows. I look forward to meeting even more inspiring individuals who advocate or contribute to making change in their communities through the podcast, develop my writing and storytelling skills through the blog, and flesh out my leadership skills to create meaningful impact for those around me, and the democracy we are in.
