Elise Prophete

My name is Elise Prophete, and I am a senior at Midwood High School as well as a Lead Civic Fellow! While I joined NGP fairly recently, it has become a huge beneficial part of my life that I think everyone should participate in. 

From a young age I have been super engaged in political issues, as my double minority status in the U.S. has made it impossible for me to bypass most sociopolitical news. Being part of NGP has allowed me to take my knowledge and experiences to both learn and share with other civic minded individuals outside of school. Specifically being a Lead Civic Fellow has helped me in realizing my passion for Political Science, which I hope to major in come next year!
